The Marble Project

Here is what we were told for the marble roller coaster project; use anything to make a marble continue moving for as long as possible in a two foot cube. Use anything to build the coaster, but the only force that can act upon your marble is gravity. The main object is to have your marble track to be as long as possible and have the marble move as slow as possible. |

We are given one day a week to work on the project in class for three weeks, but can work on the project outside of class as well. We begin testing the coasters during week four. During testing, we each test our project three times and have the opportunity to change anything to achieve a better time. After testing the project three times, the best time is used for the final time.
