Happenings in Auto Body Repair

by Elliot R. - Sandwich

Good day. I am Elliot from IVVC’s Auto Body Repair shop. What we do in the body shop ranges from basic cleaning of cars and the shop, to completely refinishing all types of automobiles. I’ve learned a lot in the short time of being with Pete Kreinbrink, the Auto Body instructor. I never knew how tedious even the smallest tasks in the body shop were - until watching the first year students do what I did last year.

In the first few weeks of Auto Body, we go over shop safety and start working on panels, to learn how to fix dents and repaint damaged vehicles. Working with Pete and the Auto Body class is really enjoyable.  It feels good to be able to guide the new students.
