On December 9th, the Computer Tech, Computer Programming, and Graphic Design classes attended a student workshop at Tribeca Flashpoint College, a digital media education institute, in downtown Chicago.

The students attended a classroom workshop that was taught by a professor of digital arts and animation. Each student was given an iMac computer work station, and was then instructed how to run the solid modeling software to create real time movement of 3D objects. The students also learned how computer software is used to make animation, and real time movement capture of movement of a real person.

The workshop was very informative, and the presenter spent a good amount of time explaining to our IVVC students how what they did in the workshop translates into a career path in the future.
