IVVC hosted an 8th Grade Career Expo on Wednesday, April 5, attracting 475 students from nine junior high/elementary schools and one high school within the IVVC regional area.

Each of the students had pre-selected three IVVC programs to visit. Due to inclement weather, the attendees first gathered in the Auto Tech shop – instead of outside - and then were ushered by an IVVC student helper to their first classroom. Students spent about 15 minutes learning about each program of their choice. IVVC student helpers played an integral role in the day’s events, holding signs to direct the visitors and sharing information about their IVVC experiences.
