The welding class is excited to start fresh this year. We have a new teacher, Mr. Moody. Already, we have learned all about safety and the different types of welding. Not only are we going to learn about welding and fabrication, but also how to run manual machines.

As a result of taking the OSHA 10 class, we are certified in safety and can use that certification when we leave IVVC to help us obtain jobs.

We are looking forward to a field trip to Fabtech in November at McCormick Place. The field trip will give us a chance to see how many different careers and opportunities there are in the welding/manufacturing industry.

We are all very excited to continue welding in the shop and honing our skills to be the best welders possible.
