Law Enforcement students spent two days learning control holds, professionally referred to as M.A.C.H. The acronym stands for Mechanical Advantage Control Holds. Training took place at Dojo Dynamics in Sandwich.

M.A.C.H. is a 5-step process that officers and military use to subdue an individual. It is very effective and allows the officer to control with little harm to the offender. The instructor, Tony Grano, who authored (created and designed) the system, lives nearby and has taught the IVVC Law Enforcement class in the past.
