The Law Enforcement, Fire Science, and EMS programs together paid tribute to the first responders of the 9/11 attack on the Towers in New York City. All three classes gathered in public safety fashion to honor those that gave their lives for this tragedy.

Over 40 students marched across the parking lot to ‘Amazing Grace’ to congregate in front of the flag. The a.m. class proceeded to lower the flag and continue on with a bell ringing to honor those that did not make it out alive that day. After that, the students stood at attention while a Sandwich High School student played ‘Taps’ on his bugle. Some students decided to give a short speech to the onlookers which included over 200 IVVC students. A short video can be found here: IVVC 9/11 Tribute
