Students practice their skills on each other!

Health Occupations students have had an eventful semester. They have completed CPR and learned many basic aspects and skills necessary in any health care career. They are also getting ready to get out next semester and job shadow at the local hospital as well as a variety of health care facilities.

Students have a great start on their body cavity contest. It's AM class vs. PM, and everyone gets involved! Each body organ needs to be identified by a medical term, and a specialized health care career is listed for each organ.

Health Occupations students who participate in HOSA – Future Health Professionals have worked hard and just finished preliminary testing for the HOSA state competition in the spring.
