The Indian Valley Vocational Center (IVVC) Culinary Arts classes prepared and served an annual Administrative Assistant Luncheon on April 26 at The Homestead 1854 in the Timber Tent, located in Plano.

In appreciation for their continual support, the luncheon is offered to Administrative Professionals at each of the eleven K-12 school districts that are part of the IVVC co-op: Earlville, Hinckley-Big Rock, Indian Creek, Leland, Newark, Paw Paw, Plano, Sandwich, Serena, Somonauk, and Yorkville.

To prepare for the event, culinary students coordinated the four course menu, budgeted from their class account, practiced serving details, and created organizational documents to cover the details. Students prepared the food in the IVVC Culinary Arts kitchen, then transported and prepped at the Homestead.

IVVC wishes to thank The Homestead 1854 for this partnership opportunity.
