Back to In-Person Every Day!
Super exciting times to be able to come in to Graphic Design every day and have a great time! Sure we have masks and have to sanitize our desks but that doesn’t matter to us. What matters is having a good time with class, doing team building activities, and meeting new friends with the same interests.
Currently the first year students are trying to conquer the pen tool in InDesign. It's quite the challenge but we can do it! By the end of the week, we will be re-creating design pieces and testing the skills we’ve learned so far.
Second year students are working with the Culinary Arts class to create career posters. They are getting a taste of their first live clients! We also have an in-house design job for the Sandwich Area Chamber of Commerce to create a logo for this year's Plano Bologna Day. All second year students are creating a unique design for this year's class shirts too. Busy, busy!!
A note from Ms. G.:
As a teacher, it’s thrilling to be in the classroom with my students every day. I’m beyond proud of these kids - practicing social distancing, wearing their masks and all diligent about sanitizing their stations. None of this stops them from doing amazing things in this room. I’ve seen some pretty outstanding designs already and we aren’t even out of the first month yet! I’m truly looking forward to what this year will bring. Stay tuned for our next article coming in October!!
