New Tool System Rolls into Auto Tech Shop
A new tool system provides ease of access for tools in the Auto Tech shop. Rolling on wheels, the board of tools moves around so that tools are handy for working on vehicles. The first week of school students arranged the tool boards. Each of the two Auto Tech classes has their own board.
Safety training is finished! The training was done through a website, by reading, viewing a video on lift safety, and hands-on. Before any shop work was done, students had to pass the safety exams. Everyone passed, and customer work has begun.
We are getting into tires and suspensions. We’re learning basics about tires, including how to change them and to patch minor holes. There are different types of suspensions, and we are learning about them and how to make repairs.
