Launch the media gallery 1 player - media #3It's that time of year again. Winter is in full swing here at IVVC and once again Mother Nature has given EMS the opportunity to sharpen our skills with Winter Ops.
Winter Ops is an exercise for the EMS students to utilize the large amounts of snow, ice, and the cold temperatures to use our equipment in real life scenarios. Students learn how to keep themselves safe while tending to all types of rescues in the winter weather. Students learn how to dress in layers and use different equipment to overcome the snow and ice.
