The students have been working extremely hard with preparation for clinical at Hillside Rehab and Care Center in Yorkville and Prairie Crossing Living and Rehab Center in Shabbona.
The students are practicing their skills and completing their skills checkoffs, including partial bed baths, shaving, and nail care - all in preparation for the end of the year and keeping in guidelines per the IDPH (IL Dept. of Public Health) for their clinical experience.
Our first group of students successfully completed their clinical rotation at Hillside on February 26, 2021. All of the students were very moved by this experience and enjoyed their time with the Hillside residents.
