In October, the AM and PM 2nd year Fire Science students presented to the preschool children in the Teaching Methods Program. The Fire Science students demonstrated “Stop, Drop, and Roll”. The preschool kids had so much fun practicing this! Then, the Fire Science students showed the preschoolers what each piece of their equipment looked like and what it does, as they completely dressed in full turnout gear.
The kids were very excited to get to see the fire truck. They were able to hold equipment, ‘drive’, and see all the hoses.
