I can honestly say that it is good to be back in the classroom. The students have been doing phenomenally with coding, modeling, and working on their required certification courses. It has definitely been a great start for the first half of the school year.
Game Design/3D Modeling
We were able to acquire a resin based resin 3D printer. In short, these enable the students to print more complex models and design more complex characters, scene layouts and other video game elements. Students have successfully created as well as printed objects ranging from Halloween scenes to drone cases.
Programming
We have been doing lots of work in C++. Students have been creating codes that involve multiple functions and algorithms. In regards to other areas of programming, students have been working diligently on cyber security. They are entering units that involve tracing malicious activities as well as network threats.
I have been very proud of this class and the progress they have all been making. Their willingness to learn is remarkable and their growth astounding. Also, please remember to check out our facebook page for further examples.
