Skills Developed Through Clinical Experiences
Our Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) students finished their mandated 40 hours of clinical at a local long-term care facility. Our students worked diligently to develop their communication skills, develop trusting relationships, and provide proper care, and they all learned valuable lessons along the way.
Their many skills include but are not limited to communication, feeding, bathing, shaving, oral care, showering, and providing comfort care. The students are feeling many emotions with clinical coming to an end. They look forward to taking their state board exam next month and preparing to enter the workforce as CNAs.
