Launch the media gallery 1 player - media #2As a young man interested in the welding industry who knew nothing about it, I was pretty hesitant to join. But in Mr. Rodriguez‘s welding class, everyone was so welcoming and helpful that it was an easy transition into a shop environment.
Throughout the years I’ve learned: how to properly hold a grinder, assemble and disassemble a grinder, how to use most of the machines in the shop, and being able to weld in mostly any position. I’ve also learned most names of the tools and what they are used for in the shop, as well as the proper PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) to wear in the shop environment. The people that decide to take this welding class will have the opportunity to not just learn but succeed in a welding career.
For the most part, this class is an incredible experience for anybody interested in going into welding. It will teach you everything you need to know in the amount of time you are there. I truly recommend this class to anybody willing to put in the work and effort. My instructor, Mr. Rodriguez, is a great guy and he is willing to teach you everything that you need to know - as long as you’re willing to put in the effort.
