New Teaching Mannequins Will Help CNA Students Learn Skills
It’s hard to believe that summer is over! Now it’s back to work. This year promises to be a great year for our CNA class! We have already kicked off the year by learning proper hand washing technique.
Along with our new students, I am excited to introduce our new mannequins, Alfred “Alfie”, and Florence “Flo”. These teaching mannequins will help the students learn the 21 Skills needed to become Certified Nursing Assistants. In addition to classroom learning, the students spend a great number of hours practicing in the lab before they begin clinical experiences at a nursing home in January.
With last year being so successful scoring a 96% passing rate on the State Board Exams, we look forward to another great year with our students!
